Before Valli Chattaine can leave the Paris Ballet Company and return to her home in French Algeria, "she must obtain crucial information from a German spy."--Cover.

Tuesday's Child

French ballerina star Valli Chattaine finds romance and danger during World War II when she meets an old acquaintance while trying to escape Paris and obtain important information from a German spy

I enjoyed this book but it felt rushed. So many connections were either assumed or simply lacking. The overall conclusion seemed to have little to do with the opening problem. Also, in this book, like so many of her others, Chaikin conveniently connects all the characters by blood or marriage though the protagonist couple is always conveniently distantly enough related to make a match palatable. I thought at first that this series would survive the purge but not anymore. I just don't like it enough.
