I'm a fan of the Grimnoir Chronicles! In this conclusion to the three book series, Correia wraps things up with a nice little bow. I was satisfied with the ending for a variety of reasons. First, I felt like the main conflicts were concluded without any "seriously!" moments (those moments where the reader questions how the author could have "seriously" thought that the action in question was sufficient). Second, I loved the action scenes - again! I think I mentioned this in the review from book 2 in the series, Correia does action very well. My "headmap" - to copy a Correia term - is easy to create because of his adept way of writing action. And finally, it still had a bit of a twist or surprise - which is always appreciated. As a final note, the audio book has a short little introduction to "Tokyo Raider" added to the end, which is apparently also in the Grimnoir universe. It looks like a short story, so we'll see how that goes.
