Keith Kinfolks Descendants of James Keith, Sr., from 1720 to 1979

Research on James Keith Sr. indicates that he " ... was born in North England about 1720 and brought to Virginia as an infant by relatives or a guardian. ... records further show he first settled in what is now the Frederick/Shenandoah counties area of Virginia at a place called Noride and married as [sic] Miss Norid; or similar spelling. ... Several contemporary genealogists and descendants believed James Keith, Sr. could have been brought to Virginia by another James Keith who was his father."--P. 1.
