Every reader definitely loves Jen Frederick and Jessica Claire stories so much especially their Hitman series! They always provide us a great suspense plot twist with sexy romance. Last Hope can be a standalone read. It has a new character and plot that it is not necessary to read the previous Hitman books. Last Hope starts off in a middle operation that leaves us questioning if we miss something or not. But we did not miss anything since Last Hope is a new plot and storyline from the typical Hitman series. It will give the reader a new plot to read with it's action packed suspense mix with sexy flirtation. Last Hope is focusing on the sexy hitmen,Mendoza and the beautiful model,Ave. I definitely was excited to read about the hot Mendoza since he was a huge mystery that I want to unravel. And it did meet my expectation. Mendoza is such a hottie that every reader wants him, but at the same time, they want to shake him when he is acting like a jerk. Mendoza always focus on his job that he make sure he gets it done no matter what but it will be a problem when he meets the beautiful Ava. Ava is a beautiful model that she is stuck in a hard place. She works very hard for her career but runs into a unexpected luck when her best friend, Rose is kidnapped. Ava is now stunk in helping the criminal in order to get Rose back, but things get more complicated when she meets Mendoza. I definitely admired how strong and determined Ave is, but I definitely did not like how indecision she was about liking Mendoza or not liking him. It felt too childish. Last Hope is a good suspense romance book that it gives the reader fast-pace action with sexy romance! Four Stars.
