Ever Mine A Small Town Second Chance Sports Romance (Honey Mountain Series, book #2)

Laura Pavlov2022
He’s hockey’s golden boy, my new client, and the man I’ve avoided for the last nine years. I was hired to fix him—but he’s not the only one who’s broken. Hawk Madden was my first love. I thought he would be my forever. But life wasn’t always fair. And grief could be a cruel beast. Fight or flight? I’d always run. But now he’s back in my life after all these years. With one look. One touch. One kiss. Old feelings resurface. Feelings that I thought I’d buried a long time ago. Hawk Madden was my first love… I just didn’t know that he’d be my last.

forever will never be long enough for those people who are meant to be together!!!! The thing about second chance romances is how it's either a hit or miss. There are times when you just have to let things be and move on, but in Everly and Hawk's case, you know there's a sliver of hope that you can make do. 9 years is a very long time; however, when you're meant to be, then you're just meant to be! The stars literally aligned, connived, and conspired for these two to reunite! Laura did a wonderful job in pacing the story without rushing things. The relationship might have been uncomfy or awkward yet their chemistry was just overflowing! I can't help but root for them!

Boring plot. Boring characters. I still hate the writing.

Oh man it was good to be back around my people and in Honey Mountain, this town and it’s people own my heart ❤️ It was good to catch up with my Greek god Niko and Viv and welcome little Beth into the family❣️there’s sooooo much love going around and you can’t help but get swept up in all 😉 Hawk and Everly were born for each other and despite their sad breakup they sort of picked up where they left off , yes a lot happened to get them where they are now and I was out of my skin to be part of that journey ! Besides Everly and Hawk , gramps and the elderly gentleman from the Ice rink stole my heart these old charmers are just the sweetest and I’d love to hug them and spend time with them , love you guys ! Laura Pavlov has become a firm favourite with me and she’s always going to be Ever Mine ❣️📕🐛
