There is a part of me that hates that I’m saying this. But I think this may be my least favorite second chance romance I have read. I’m really trying to give this series a chance but there is something about it that isn’t clicking yet for me. I don’t know if it’s the storyline, the characters, or if it’s just something. I’m holding out to see what the rest of the series brings and hoping I’ll get into them.

The thing about second chance romances is how it's either a hit or miss. There are times when you just have to let things be and move on, but in Everly and Hawk's case, you know there's a sliver of hope that you can make do. 9 years is a very long time; however, when you're meant to be, then you're just meant to be! The stars literally aligned, connived, and conspired for these two to reunite! Laura did a wonderful job in pacing the story without rushing things. The relationship might have been uncomfy or awkward yet their chemistry was just overflowing! I can't help but root for them!

It was good to catch up with my Greek god Niko and Viv and welcome little Beth into the family❣️there’s sooooo much love going around and you can’t help but get swept up in all 😉


Hawk and Everly were born for each other and despite their sad breakup they sort of picked up where they left off , yes a lot happened to get them where they are now and I was out of my skin to be part of that journey ! 

Besides Everly and Hawk , gramps and the elderly gentleman from the Ice rink stole my heart these old charmers are just the sweetest and I’d love to hug them and spend time with them , love you guys !
