** spoiler alert ** Ngl, I was weirded out about Hugh feeling these things about Lila all while insisting she’s like a sister to him. But like, can’t also blame Lila for that skinny dipping night because daaaamn Mr Hugh!!! This was such a good read. Steamy and sweet and makes you want to see Hugh and just know why he’s the talk of town!

brother's best friend/best friend's little sister in a small town setting — SIGN ME UP!!! This is my first LP book and it definitely did not disappoint! I may have read this trope multiple times, but the butterflies just hit the right places! LP knows how to capture her readers with swoony and sexy characters! It's a great introduction to the entire Reynolds clan! I am completely in love with that grecian god aka Hugh! I think I'm jealous of Lily, but at the same time I'm so happy she found the love of her life in Hugh! Hahahaha She hit the jackpot on her first try! Wink wink

Lila and Hugh — OH MY GOODNESS! They are pure spice! The tension is turned up high and when it finally starts to break — Whew 😅 it’s HOTTTT 🌶️🔥 Their story is incredibly sweet. Hugh helps her through so much even though Lila is very independent and doesn’t ever ask for anything.
