Legacy Montgomery Brothers Book #1
Reviews

the story was lovely and i liked the way it progressed. i also liked the characters and their development.
the plot, the twists and the family issues addressed made it unique and interesting but...
the writing wasn't so captivating for me. maybe it's a me thing, but i didn't feel very connected with it and many parts were written in a way that found me rolling my eyes. it was sort of predictable and an i-describe-my-day-in-my-diary kind of writing.
apart from that, i liked the story and i want to read the rest of the series.

Meh. A struggling well educated baker and a billionaire falling in love? I've read books like this too many times to know where it's going—predictable plot and cliche moments that has me rolling my eyes. For the characters, Harley was fine at first but she was trying too hard to be a badass. Like girl your life was in danger and when our boy Montgomery tried to snoop in to save the day, she turned him away before she 'could handle it herself'. Sure Jan. It was average at best and sadly wasn't memorable enough to leave a lasting impression.

Highlights

“This is just the start. I plan on loving you every single day for the rest of our lives.”

You can’t save someone who doesn’t want to be saved, right?

Loving someone meant that you’d walk through fire for them. I had no doubt that this man would walk through fire for me. And I wouldn’t hesitate to do the same.
