I love novels in verse and this is a great one for kids moving up to middle school. I loved that the theme of this book was empowering kids to find their voice and stand up for what they believe in, even if that doesn't always work out in their favor. I was occasionally confused by so many voices and would have loved a little reply from Ms. Hill at the end, but I thought overall this was a really great book.
