This is the book that got me into reading again. I love the plot. This book was
an easy read book. The ending was kind of predictable but very satisfying end.

Laura Wood has become a Firm Favourite Author of mine and this book as cemented this in my mind. Wood has a way with words that help to paint a Picture in your mind where you are reading but you are also watching the book play out. This Book Is simply stunning every word helps to paint a Picture.

When the story begins, Iris Grey has been living in London as a dressmaker since she ran away from her ancestral home. Iris believes that her beloved father had been murdered as no skilled horseman should've been so easily thrown from his horse and killed. While she wants revenge, she has come no closer to solving the mystery behind her father's death...at least until she meets Lord Nicholas Wynter. Nicholas has a proposition for her - to endear herself to Prince Stefan, secure an offer of marriage him and then to publicly reject him and humiliate him.

Iris has no interest in this until she learns that her stepsister, Agatha, believes that she is close to securing an engagement with Prince Stefan and that being scorned by the prince would be devastating to her stepmother, the now Lady Scott-Holland. Not to mention, Nicholas' plan would involve her being invited back to her own home for the season and give her a chance to secretly investigate her father's death.

This Book is magical and could easily have been read in one sitting, this is a firm favourite of Wood’s book for sure! Such an Amazing Read. I would 100% recommended this book to anyone.

I loved this book! It has been a long time since I read a book in one sitting but I devoured this one. A Single Thread of Moonlight is a Cinderella re-telling and it was the perfect adult fairy tale. The story follows Iris Grey, a talented seamstress who becomes embroiled in the revenge plot if a handsome stranger. As the story progresses worlds collide and vendettas overlap with a fab cast of characters. Though a little predictable at points this book kept me hooked from cover to cover!
