Wasn’t so bad…? I don’t know what to feel about it, but this book was mediocre to a fault. I wish I could forget a lot of scenes in this book because I know damn well this could’ve been written way better, with Sophie being much less of an “I’m not like other girls” and Liam being much less of a dumbass who somehow couldn’t take no for an answer, but this book pulled through in the end with the cheesy fluff. I don’t hate this but I also don’t love it. Surely not my favorite book in the series, but it definitely didn’t fail from pulling me out my slump.

Things I loved: 
- The whole "my dad wants me to pursue this but i want to pursue that instead" was a nice storyline (could have been done better but I'll take what I can get lol), I loved Sophie's relationship with her dad as well.
- Sophie and Maya's friendship was nice to see.
- Liam - Noah - Jax friendship was nice as well. 

Things I hated:
- EVERYTHING ELSE
- Sophie's whole personality is just "I'm not like other girls" like come on lol "I wear Converse <3" okay me too b!tch tf 
- Liam's whole anti-love mindset was dragged out too long
- Trying to make Liam seem like a secret huge nerd wasn't done that well imo :/
- The McCoy drama felt so shoehorned and boring but whatever

This book took me longer than I wanted but it was so worth it. I love Liam so much and Sophie is perfect!! I enjoyed her during the second book and her character development made me adore her so much more. The only issue I have is I think I was stuck on how much I loved the first book and my excitement for the third book that I couldn’t really get into collided. But I literally loved it!!!! The bucket list was my absolute fave, so unique and interesting. Their friendship was so wholesome and cute, I loved it so much that they needed each other as friends first and then fell in love. The epilogue(s) were soooo fucking cute. I cried in the beginning for Johanna and then almost again around 80%-90% in. This book definitely has so much emotion attached to it. Perfect read

Really good storyline between the 2 characters. Really liked the back story with his brother and his wife. And Sophie wasn’t unbearable

This book was aggressively cringeworthy. Friends to lover; Sophie Mitchell is "not like other girls" she wears converse under her dresses (seriously is this 2004 wattpad?) meets resident Formula 1 bad boy Liam Zander who falls for Sophie and is dedicated to helping her tick off items from her "Naughty Bucket List" 

Where do I start? Where do I end? This was 300 pages too long, the miscommunication trope was incredibly frustrating and the main female protag was infuriating. The only reason I didn't DNF this book was because I LOVE Lauren Asher's writing and I was obsessed with Throttled (first book in the series) 

Liam is a walking red flag, and I mean bright neon red. This is a legit serious quote.

"Adding a condom to the mix feels like another way she wants to pull away from me" 

I wish I was kidding, not only that but then he proceeds to say that the condom is too small for him. I am truly flabbergasted at the idea of Liam being the love interest in this novel. I cringed 90% of the time? 

Boring, sexist, horribly paced. Unfortunately this book was a huge disappointment, if you want to read this series I advise skipping this book.

I read these books for the smut and the smut only because these characters drive me insane. Liam was better than Noah, but still. That boy can't seem to understand a No or what boundaries mean. And Sophie? "I'm not like the other girls, I wear t-shirts with funny sayings on them and always prefer sneakers to heels". Ok, we get it, Soph, you're different. HOWEVER, these books are fun, little palate cleansers that will teach me nothing about life but make me forget everything that's bothering me. Love that for me, I guess.

Ok I officially love this book. 

I fell in love with Liam and Sophie from the very beginning, they will have you captivated. 

Liams past really broke me at the beginning. He struggled so much to let him self be loved by someone or love someone himself because of it and it broke my heart cause he deserves all the love. He is also constantly fucked around by his managers and sponsors. I loved Liams character and how he was so comfortable around Sophie. She allowed him to be himself and to open up about things which I really enjoyed. 

Sophie was extremely fun and adorable. Her wild side definitely came out with the Fuck-It List. But what I loved was Liams eagerness to help her cross off things from the list. That list was hot, steamy and a whole lotta fun. 

Sophie and Liams friendship captivated me and I loved how they were constantly bickering, laughing and having fun with each other.

I fell for every damn character in this book. I also think I am now in love with a bunch of F1 racers. I cannot wait to continue this series.

and the series continues to be a dud.

Truthfully, it's just disappointing because as I stated in my Throttled review, this series has a lot of hype and really only good things being said about it. If F1 racers are really like this in the three-dimensional world and not just in this fictional one—count me out.

Liam and Sophie to me had more of a connection than Maya and Noah. Their story also felt a little more intimate and emotional compared to the predecessor book, yet it still made my skin crawl and didn't give enough. Liam's inner dialogue was truly disturbing. This was one of the same points I made in the last book. Always about sex and I am all for one for smutty reads. GIVE THEM TO ME. This just was all portrayed and delivered very gag-worthy.

Now, one of my biggest problems which also goes towards Throttled is the trauma angle. The author gave Liam a traumatic experience that hindered him and created some of his bad characteristics and so on. Yet... for such a big point they made around it, it truly wasn't touched on very much or discussed nearly enough to make it seem important to the story to me. Traumatic stuff, if being added to a book, shouldn't take a back seat. It's like it was added for shits and giggles just because it was completely disregarded for almost the entirety of the book. Just doesn't sit well with me.
