This wasn't as bad as the first book it was a nice marriage of convenience.

But I didn't like the fact that Iris was sacrificing everything for Declan. He's not your family he's not even your friend he's your boss why put his needs before your own?

But overall it was nice Declan was nice and their dynamic was nice there was a little bit of forced proximity it was cute

This one made the series 100% worth it, the story was well written and the characters well thought thru. Arranged marrige mixed with forced proximity was the mix I did´nt know I needed. Chefs kiss!!!

I recently read "Terms and Conditions by Lauren Asher" and i absolutely fell in love with it. The book is about Declan, arrogant , coldhearted and workaholic billionaire , and his arranged marriage with his personal assistant , Iris, who happens to also be his brothers best friend , voluntarily chooses to marry Declan for the sake of his inheritance in the family's empire. What they didn't expect was that their fake relationship would eventually become a real one. I loved this book because of the way Declan and Iris's relationship showed so much character development and that one should never give up on their relationships even after an argument which causes them to believe that there is no going back . This book showed forgiveness and love and the reality of marriage even though it was not out of love in the beginning . (And the amount and level of grovelling Declan did makes me so jealous 😭😭). It is such a beautiful story that made me cry because of how sweet and loving it really is.

I really wanted to hate Declan. He seemed mean and heartless. I had a hard time connecting to the characters because of it. But then that dislike only added to the redemption and watching his heart grow like the Grinch. Beautiful ending. Great character development!

my favourite book out of the trilogy btw wayy to cute for me

Declan
I'm destined to become the next CEO of my family's media empire.
The only problem? My grandfather's inheritance clause.
Fulfilling his dying wish of getting married and having an heir seemed impossible until my assistant volunteered for the job.
Our marriage was supposed to be the perfect solution to my biggest problem.
But the more we act in love for the public, the more unsure I feel about our contract.
Caring about Iris was never part of the deal.
Especially not when breaking her heart is inevitable.

Iris
My plan to marry Declan was simple in theory.
Move in together. Throw a wedding. Have a baby.
We set rules to prevent any kind of issues.
Ones that were never meant to be broken, no matter how much Declan tempts me.
But what happens when our fake relationship bleeds into our real one?
Falling in love was never an option.
At least not for me.

Declan and Iris: i loved, i love loved. I love Iris and how strong she is and her character development, I liked Declan but i get the criticism of he should have grovelled more and should have apologised harder when he rejected her job transition coz it knocked Iris’ confidence. Didn’t feel the age gap between them at all probably coz Declan was the complete opposite of a manwhore. How did Rowan and Zahra steal my heart tho?! And now I can’t wait for Cal’s book.

i liked this one SO MUCH better than the final offer 4.5 stars !!!

I am in love with fake dating/marriage tropes! Love this book more than the first one. I love how Iris and Declan really do complement with each other so well. I love Iris so much. She's such a great female character and never let any man tell her what to do or not to do. I also love how we get to see Declan's character development and was about to break the cycle and become a better partner for Iris.

I tried okay, i dont get why people like delcan all he did was get on my nerves. LIKE BRO WE GET IT WHY ARE YOU SUCH A BITCH. ill try again with this book but maybe im a bit biased because i hate the pregnancy trope with a passion

First of all, I finished it pretty fast even though I wasn't in the mood to read, but it was such an easy read for me. The characters were likeable and I related to many things in this book. And DECLAN...!! I loved the things he's done for Iris ❤️

He is a book-boyfriend material;), but he got on my nerves at the end.I felt like the end was rushed a little. I feel like Declan could've grovelled more, and for Iris to take more time to forgive him. However, I liked the book, the characters, and the banter. It was just lacking smth, I don't know what exactly, that's why I didn't give it 5 stars. But it was really a good read and I loved it ❤️ !! + so excited for The Final Offer the last book in the series. I can't wait to see Cal's pov and his love story 💗!

I really enjoyed reading this book. Especially because of Lauren’s writing style and the plot. If it weren’t for my exams, I would have finished this book in one sitting.

However, I would have loved to see more vulnerability and communication. A lot of things were either too cliché or just too fast-paced and I would have loved to see more depth in the MC’s.

That aside, Declan has raised my standards on so many levels lol.

Spicy, romantic, so unrealistic and absurd it was laughable, fun read.

The weirdest thing was the switch between Declan resisting his attraction for Iris (for no apparent reason) and then suddenly giving in without any scruples whatsoever.

I enjoyed it on the whole but overall it's too ridiculous to reread.

The series just keeps getting better!!! It had everything I love in a book. This was such a beautiful book, it had me crying by the end😭 the Epilogue was so adorable I had happy tears by the end!!! Going to pick up Final Offer!!!!

If I could jump inside a book and be the 3rd in a relationship, it would be this book and this relationship.

1.75 stars!

I was somewhat enjoying this until the end of the book. Declan’s overall attitude the entire time irked me so badly but I persevered. In vain. Declan belittling Iris, causing her so much sadness then having the audacity not to go after her just pissed me off so badly. He made her feel like a failure. Then just left her! UGH MEN! Cal was the only right choice in the end. At least he knew how to treat her right. GOD! That whole part ruined the whole book for me!!! Also I hate the fact that it took some random man to convince Declan to go get his wife back. HIS WIFE!! I don’t care that he labels it as a small fight. What he did would have warranted a divorce. AND HIM NOT RESPECTING HER BOUNDARIES WHEN SHE SAID SHE DIDNT WANT TO TALK TO HIM!!! Im starting a Declan hate group!!☝️☝️ I feel like he loves her more as his assistant than his wife…

4.5!!!
was the using foreign words to express his feelings cringe? YES! but regardless, they were everything THE BOOK IS LITERALLY GREEN BC ITS HER FAV COLOUR HE KEPT THE PLANT FOR 2 YEARS HE FORCED EVERYONE TO USE A DIFFERENT FONT 😫😫😫😫

I was hesitant to start this book because I didn't really enjoy the first one but I'm very glad I did. I loved Iris's character and her story of being dyslexic and overcoming it, I've never read a character with that before. I also loved seeing Declan grow throughout the book and how great of a husband he was to Iris. Really loved this and can't wait to start the next one.

Maggie Hotmer

I had a tough time to get comfortable with the story. It took me more than halfway through the book till I started to like it. But it wasn’t that captivating as the first one. Although Declan and Iris ended up being a cute couple, I found it a little hard to relate to either of them. I liked Iris a lot, mainly because of her fighting spirit - just inspiring. I had hoped for a little more effort from Declan, he could’ve fought a little harder for Iris at the end. I had hoped that the ending would be a little bit slower than it actually was.

I enjoyed this one much more than the first one! It felt less insta-lovey (probably because we met the characters in the first book and saw their infatuation begin there).

There's something thus Author knows how to do and that is grumpy meets Sunshine

I can't even begin to express how much I loved this book and the characters.

How well it was done and how real these characters felt.

This was only perfect i loved every moment of it and loved the growth of the characters aswell.

Great read can't wait read the final offer.
