Scoring With Him
Reviews

As always I love Lauren’s stories and this one was amazing, her MM books are my favorite and I was hooked from the beginning reading about Declan and Grant. They were both wonderful, I loved their interactions, all their flirting and their relationships with their friends. They had some great chemistry from the beginning and their steamy scenes were the best. I loved how opened they were about their problems and how in a short time their relationship grew. Grant wasn’t afraid to ask Declan for help and thanks to that they both had more intimate moments and they could share what troubled them in relationship to their lives and their sexual history. All of their scenes were amazing, their connection was off the charts and after that ending I’m dying to know what will happen next between them.

I neeeeeed more. “I haven’t forgotten how forbidden we are. He’s more off-limits than anyone else in the world. And really, of all the queer men on the planet, why does the guy I want so badly have to be my teammate?” Grant and Declan are living in the same moment, but are worlds apart. If it was the right place at the right time, they would be unstoppable. What they are limited to is hidden moments and secret glances. “Scoring With Him,” is book one in the Men of Summer Series by Lauren Blakely. It has Grant in his rookie season as a catcher. He’s trying to pave his way, whilst navigating the changes and sacrifices he’s made since he was a teenager. Declan is the seasoned shortstop; baseball all day long, until it comes to the off season - and then it’s being attached, while unattached. Together they form a heady friendship turned lessons on and off the field.. the lines get blurred, and it becomes a whole lot more complicated. It’s forbidden. Unexpected, and driven on lust and emotions. It left me needing more, and I’m so glad I get to see what happens next. This was my first MM by Lauren Blakely, and won’t be my last.
