Best of friends Ransom and Teagan are the last to wed in the group. Constantly being pushed together. Ransom, not just the NHLs most elite bachelor but one of the most wanted period, wrangles his bff into winning the infamous “win a date” auction. He’s sweet, competitive and deliciously dirty. Teagan is a woman of her own! No man needed, but always up for fun. She wears the crown of her family legacy and holds it dear. What this pair didn’t account for though was an alluring bet, never being able to get enough and the ease of falling in love with your soul mate. 

Zachary Webber comes in strong from the get go! You can tell he has been putting in work honing his skill and it shows big time with his performance of Ransom. Andi Arndt voices Teagan beautifully, she brings her quirks, happiness and brave nature to life with no trouble. Andi and Zachary are always a great pair but they really bring this story to an extra level with their comfortability as a narrating team. We get a great dose of Stella Hunter and Brian Pallino and mannnn is it spicy. I am so looking forward to more of them! Where have they been all my life?! 
 
Teagan and Ransom are so effortlessly sexy you wanna be them! Their transition from friends to lovers is seamless. Sure they have the traditional “what if this doesn’t work out and we ruin everything” but they’re too good to fret. The bond of friendship is explored even further than just their relationship, bringing to light the fact that our friends are our chosen family. 

Lauren’s ability to grab your interest in not only the main story but all the wonderful side characters you meet along the way builds with every new couple. At this point I look forward to meeting the friends and family just as much as the main characters in her stories. She has this special way of weaving in beautifully tough backgrounds that make each plot line relatable and euphoric. On top of that Lauren continually brings us empowered heroines who know what they want in and out of the bedroom and I am HERE for it.
