The Dating Proposal was such a fun book with so many cute and laugh out loud moments. If you're in a bad mood, believe me, this is a book you should pick up. Lauren Blakely knows how to take two characters and make you love them.

McKenna was dumped by her fiance the day before her wedding and not even face to face! That's just rude! Anyways, it's been awhile and she's decided to get back on the market. She's running a successful blog and I loved reading her working on it or updating her stories. As a blogger, it's fun to read about characters who do something like that.

Chris is a geeky hot guy who has his own TV show about gaming. I love a nerdy guy and reading about the games they talked about was fun (even though I don't game myself) and the fact that McKenna could keep up with that was so much fun! He's a sweet guy and I wanted him to have his happily ever after from the start.

This book is filled with so many funny moments. McKenna gets back out there and this gives us a few hilarious dates gone wrong. It was really fun to see her get out there again and just realizing she wasn't in love with her ex anymore. She's a strong and very smart woman who deserves a lot better. I also loved reading about her friends.

Chris and McKenna together was also a lot of fun. It was a quick and cute romance. I never read the original, so I don't know what's new or different, but enjoyed it all the same. I would've liked a bit more interaction between Chris and McKenna though, maybe even more of them working on the show together. I think that would've been so much fun to read about.

All in all a quick and fun romance that has swoonfactor. If you're in need of a story that makes your cheeks hurt from smiling, definitely pick up The Dating Proposal!
