This book echoes the first book I read of hers which may be why I felt a bit underwhelmed or even a bit bored…but I think it’s great for people interested in directing to really understand some of her new experiences and lessons learned

This has convinced me that Lorelai and Lauren are basically the same person

When I heard Lauren Graham had a new collection of personal essays, I was so excited to read them. Although, I feel like I prefer her first collection, Talking As Fast As I Can, these essays still did not disappoint!

Every essay had me laughing out loud. All of them told in Lauren Graham's unique voice and signature wit, you just find yourself drawn in and laughing along as she retells more stories from her life. She has such humility as she writes, making everything she writes even more relatable.

As she recounts things that have happened, both public and private, you feel as if she is talking to you as she would an old friend (she even states as much in the introduction).
