The Professor

A UGA professor is accused of having an affair with a student that led him to take his own life. Marlitt has recently resigned from the Athens PD after making poor decisions during a prior investigation. When her mother, a professor, asked her to help her coworker, she reluctantly agrees.

This story starts off slow, getting into people’s psyches, and concluding with some excellent twists. As a Georgia girl, I really enjoyed it.
