Stacey has finished her high school days at Hillcrest Boarding school, and now it's summertime. She, her new boyfriend Jacob, and some friends, Chad, PJ, Amber, and Drea, are going to stay at a cottage on the beach for the summer. Before too long, Stacey starts having nightmares yet again. This time, however, they aren't about one of her friends; they're about another girl, Clara, staying at a different beachside cottage. This felt like the weakest book in the story, and felt like more of a stand-alone story with big consequences rather than the third book in a quartet.
