Off-topic, I'm back to writing reviews. yay? Anyway, where do I even start.

One of the reasons this book doesn't get a five star review is becauase there is no plot. Don't get me wrong, it's enjoyable but there isn't too much of it and I honestly would not reread this book ever again.

The characters are annoying and they lack personality. I expected the Hero to exceed my expectations but he didn't even reach the bar. The relationship between the main characters had sparks and chemistry missing; and let's be honest, the characters play a HUGE role into making the reader love the book. 

This is my first Layla Frost book and I'm a bit dissapointed. Anyway, I'm upset with how this book turned out.

*I will start off by saying I did for the most part enjoy this book. I think if you are less picky about the things in this review than I am, than it would be worth the read.*

I preferred the first half of the book to the second. I'd rather less intimacy and less sex scenes than fade to black. When I'm reading a book, I want to know alllllll of the stuff they're doing, I need and adore that intimacy. So when it's a fade to black scene, it makes me feel like I'm missing out on that. it's not for the spice (well, not entirely), it's for the intimacy. I'd much rather no sex scenes than have the start of one and be left high and dry. 

Also, after about 60% I feel like the author was kinda rushing the plot and not leaving much room for the more intimate moments. Again, I don't only read romance for spice, but I don't want fade to black when it previously wasn't. Especially when it's something new and exciting. I don't mind fade to black if they're just doing things they've already done. But when it's something the hero previously promised or something the MC wanted and actually voiced for once (instead of the hero taking control as usual) it is a little disappointing. 

Anyways, I'd say it is still worth the read if you're not particular about this type of thing.
