for me it was a book which required some interpretation, which is surely playful, but it turns out your interpretations are wrong, because the hidden meaning is way too simple (you find out throughout reading the book) but maybe that's just me.

This book has been a huge part of my childhood, and even after more than a decade I still reread it when I miss my childhood days. The kid within us will never be gone. As a kid, this book helped me open myself to the different emotional effects one can feel when reading a book.

Wow… what a book. I didn’t expect this at all. From the first page, it grabs your attention, and it’s such a great way to show what happens to all of us when we become adults. What happens to the child inside of us? We spend our adulthood busy with matters of consequence and forget the joys of life that even a sunrise or sunset can give us, or a flower, or the everyday beauty we find in nature. As of 2026, we are the only planet in the whole universe that we know of that has these things. (The nature and animals part—sunrises and sunsets happen everywhere, but I don’t know if they’re as beautiful as they are on Earth.) Definitely one of my most recommended reads.

After the outbreak of the Second World War Saint-Exupéry became exiled in North America. In the midst of personal upheavals and failing health, he produced almost half of the writings for which he would be remembered, including a tender tale of loneliness, friendship, love and loss, in the form of a young prince fallen to Earth. An earlier memoir by the author had recounted his aviation experiences in the Sahara Desert, and he is thought to have drawn on those same experiences in The Little Prince. Since its first publication in the United States, the novella has been adapted to numerous art forms and media, including audio recordings, radio plays, live stage, film screen, television, ballet, and operatic works. It's a beautifully written classic short story. Even though it's for children, I learned quite a lot from it and it was heartwarming.
