Thrilling and fast paced in typical Jack Reacher style. A great amount of the book was based around an area of England that is very familiar to me so it was exciting to imagine Reacher there and funny to read a new comers prospective of our surroundings and behaviors.

Way more dialog and less action that I would expect from Lee Child

I had gotten the word that Lee Child was coming to the end of a good thing. I'd heard that Jack Reacher had just reached as far as he could and now it was just about the money. Nope. Not true with this book. The only criticism I can muster is that he spells out stuff that all us Reacher fans already know. That Jack is judge, jury and executioner and so on and so forth. It does feel that Child is pandering to a more conservative audience. Of course that conservative reader is going to love this character, but it seems this book embraces that audience more and makes a liberal gal feel just a tad uncomfortable with herself for loving him too. But that didn't affect me enough to not enjoy it.
