I didn't love the ending of this one! Also, I was disappointed that I figured things our before Reacher. Usually, Child has Reacher figure it out first and then doesn't reveal it to us until later. So, I guess I like that approach better than this one.

Reacher arrives accidentally in a small South Dakota town, where during a dangerous winter storm he is enlisted to protect a lone witness who local police hope can help convict a brutal crime ring.

Yeah. That's the way they should be written. Jack Reacher is bad and Jack Reacher is good. That is the only predictable thing. OK, so there were one or two more things that I figured out - but still. And, Craig (my husband), you were right. I do have to read the next book in the series pronto. So I'll put that book I had planned on reading back in the stack for another day. I guess this will be a three Lee Child summer.

61 Hours is a solid entry in the Reacher series, and apparently signifies a narrative shift. As always, I look forward to the next.
