These are starting to run together in my memory. Doesn’t bode well for the other 2/3 of the series.

It took a while to wrap my head around it since I mostly read PNR. But overall it was good, good storyline, good plot, strong characters, with a pinch of humor thrown in here and there. If you're into military stories then this would be a good one for you.

Reacher doesn't make plans. And don't mess with his special group - or his tooth brush. It don't mean nothing to him to twist your little neck until "pop" you're dead .... if you are a bad guy. And he knows, yes, he knows who is good and who is bad.

I've picked it up out of sheer boredom (holidays, nothing left to read, someone had left the book up for grabs on a public table), and quite frankly, I was not expecting much. Turns out it's actually enjoyable pulp fiction! It virtually reads like you're watching a good action movie, and that's quite something. It makes for a good summer read. :)
