The queerly willful creatures of the world had only one another to rely on.

💌 : 'spill enough blood on it, and the earth was bound to go strange.'

while i did enjoy the writing style, the characters were very lacklustre. the premise seemed very good and i was super excited to dive into it but it didnt deliver.

leslie was consistently talking about getting laid and it just felt very icky, i also understand they were both of age and set in the 1920s, but 18 and 30 makes me so uncomfortable.

i did like the ending but i feel like they could have delved more into the horror aspect, but besides that it was good. it just promised something else and didnt deliver as i expected.
