**2.5, since it wasn't really memorable*** A short novella from the other love interest point of view, that wasn't really necessary. Honestly I didn't feel like this revealed much except how messed up the romance was between Leif and the main character, whose name I already forgot. Overall it was fine and a nice way to develop Leif but I would't pay money for it. If you enjoyed the first book and find this novella for free go ahead and read it.

I didn't hate Leif, but I didn't like him either. The whole "mine" thing is just outright annoying. It seems to me that he is like his father in many ways and he doesn't have the backbone to go his own way. Also, he was soooo in love with Pagan then before she was even gone, and before he new he couldn't keep her he was interested in another girl. That's weak and it made me like him a little less. All I see in him now is a weak, selfish, soulless boy. It seemed like the book was trying to say "it's not his fault" but really, he is old enough to make some choices on his own he's just spineless.
