just balled my eyes out, love maya angelou

Safiya

All I knew about Maya Angelou was through Oprah when I was some 14 years old. At that age, one can't confidently say that one knew her and could understand what she was preaching. I just liked her energy.
Only now and after all these years, I gave way under the temptation to read my first Maya Angelou book ever. Having chosen to listen to it as an audiobook is one of the best choices I have made this year (related to books) as she is herself the narrator. I appreciated the poetry and could feel the love she conveyed through her book.
It was truly a charming audiobook. Words flew from her effortlessly.
