The influence by the Science Friction greats is clear in this book but I loved it none the same. Burton crafts a chilling tale with characters of all colors that you can identify with and begin to fare about. The ending feels a bit rushed, but honestly, I feel as though he could have easily turned this into a significantly longer book or a series of books.
