The Siege

Suicidal terrorists from the Middle East have targeted Manhattan and blown up a bus load of innocent people. Demanding the release of their leader, they threaten to escalate their campaign of violence if their wishes are not met. Denzel Washington plays an FBI agent hot on the terrorists' trail, who is desperately trying to catch them while staying true to his pledge to uphold American law and justice. Bruce Willis plays a high-level military general who places New York City under martial law, suspending individuals' rights for the good of the nation. And Annette Benning plays the government agent who has ties to both men, as well as the Islamic revolutionary making the threats.
