This is a story that I wish that I could have enjoyed, I had such high hopes and it was also my first reverse harem. I had seen this on Bookstagram, when someone had shared moments in their stories of this book and I absolutely loved it, but I will say that I was disappointed with this one. It was pretty much what I expected from a reverse harem and now I know why I don't read this trope, it really just isn't my cup of tea. I found the characters to be quite interesting. While I enjoyed the characters, the romance was lacking and I felt like there was "heart" missing from the story. However, I do think if you like what reverse harem is with some edgy paranormal elements then this one just might work for you better than I.
enjoyed the book but felt it moved really quickly! Deffo could have been split maybe into two with a slightly slower pace but did enjoy it
To preface, I very rarely give five stars, and my four star is a lot like most five stars. The only thing that took this down to three was the writing. The style was just not for me. It was littered with fragments and short sentences set aside as their own paragraphs. Just not my favorite style. I also got a little confused near the end, because there were so many side characters introduced (other clans and other alphas) that it was hard to keep them all straight, so the climax was a little disorienting for me. However, the smut and the dirty talk was out of this world, and I think I totally get the omegaverse appeal now. I recommend this book on a regular basis to other readers. Really enjoyed, just wasn't thrilled with the writing.
