I really loved this, and then as the spoiler queen I found out the ending of the series and who she ends up with and immediately lost interest in the next two books.

I really enjoyed this one!! I'm always a sucker for some fun magic schools and supernatural creatures. I also liked L.H Cosways take and found this story and world very easy to get into. The characters were likable and intriguing. There was the right amount of romance and chemistry to hold my interest. Perfect Halloween read and exactly the vibes I was hoping for. I didn't read the companion series so this was my first time reading something in the Urban Fantasy genre by this author and I can confirm not only was it nice to read something different but also not feel lost being dropped into an already existing world. I don't know whether I will go back and read the original series but I will for sure continue on with this one!
