Lex and Desiree are trapped in the Underworld after attempting to save Teddy-Bear. They find some unlikely allied and are aided by Hecate as far as she is allowed. Desiree and Matthew have an emotionally charged initial meeting but she is left wondering if her son has been completely brainwashed by Samoan or does he realise that deep down she really is his mother? Samoan is back with a bang and the Dark Sinew is now fully charged and capable of making the dark divine obey her order. But when our intrepid team make it out of the underworld, the war is just about to explode! Amongst the chaos, Desiree is fighting her feelings for Lex and tormenting herself over he inability to keep Matthew from Samoan by believing her lies. She also realises that her son is waaaaay more powerful than she could ever have thought. But as there small but powerful army grows, they gain another very powerful ally but can they trust him not to turn back to Samoan? Absolutely storming conclusion to the Divine series and all my little loose ends have been tied up thankfully. Lex and Desiree are explosive and the passion fair crackles between them. I'd love to have Teddy-Bear and the gang come back with another storyline anytime - I'm going to miss them!
