This Book had an interesting premise and I was excited to get stuck into this one; whilst checking my own Draft folder at work just to make sure that this would never happen to me & I really wanted to enjoy this one but I just think that it was not a book for me the pacing just seemed to be off for my liking and I wanted to do anything but pick the book up.

Millie Chandler has found her voice. Well, she has found a safer way to express herself.

When she’s mad, ecstatic, heartbroken or crushing on someone she writes it down in the form of an email and stores it in her drafts.

But when a computer glitch occurs at work, all her drafts are blasted out to everyone. Truly a nightmare! Yup, now everyone is privy to Millie’s most inner thoughts!

This is a book where Millie finds herself and her voice. I liked Millie and Jack together and there was chemistry between them. The writing was not the best, and the book has many humorous moments that had me laughing out loud. I loved most of the side characters, especially Cate and Ralph. Millie had some amazing friends and support there.

This was an incredible slow book that just seemed to drag and repeat itself a lot. Repeatedly Millie tries to make up for the emails being sent, even though it isn't her fault. Millie also seemed very immature for her age, and I found some of her behaviour terribly frustrating at times.

Millie is devastated, not only because they were sent, but also because of the havoc they wreak in the lives of others.  She apologizes in every way that she can think of, but so many people are still not speaking to her.  When her crush, Jack Spurlock comes along and tells her that she shouldn't worry so much about what people think of her, she starts to wonder if he might just be right.

Some parts of Better Left Unsent don't click for me.  The mistakenly sent messages trope is done more romantically in To All the Boys I've Loved Before.  This book focuses more on the way the emails effect the other people in Millie's life, and frustratingly, some are left underexplored. The romance is definitely a subplot, so we learn very little about Jack who is supposed to be the love interest, but his part of the story is more about offering advice and seems superficial.  Also, the humor mostly falls flat, making this more of a romantic drama than romantic comedy.  Overall, Better Left Unsent is a mildly enjoyable read, but offers nothing new to the genre.
