Definitely a guilty pleasure read. It does not have the best writing, and I also didn't like some of the dialogue choices. The premise is interesting, but extremely unrealistic. The romance was good, but it was way too quick and not very developed. It supposedly is slow burn before the book actually starts, but we don't get to see any of that. As far as the book goes, the biker Talon practically just forces a relationship on the main character. He literally barges into her apartment kisses her and essentially says you're my woman now. He is incredibly possessive, jealous, controlling, and has a temper. Not necessarily the makings for a good romance, but his parental qualities and his affection for the main character were sweet enough to redeem the story. Especially when you contrast Talon with the asshole abusive ex-husband David. I liked the friendship dynamics, but again the dialogue was a bit rough at times. Overall, it was a very average guilty pleasure read that I will probably forget about by the end of the month.
