These mysteries all blend together in my head.

Enjoyable, and beginning to set the tone of the rest of the series. It's remarkable how much better the first book in the series is, like it was not written to formula like all the rest. Still, a perfectly enjoyable cozy mystery for housework and shopping.

This is a delightful cozy murder mystery series! I love the premise that the newspaperman lives in a town obsessed with art. It's just the sort of fantasy world I'd want to live in -- close to our own, but with marked improvements. This was a revisit to this series. I intend to listen to all the audiobooks in order while doing housework for the next year or so.

Unlike #28 in this series, this the first in the series where we are first introduced to KoKo was good. A fun read. Recommend.

I love these books, but I have to remind myself that it was written in the 60's. There's some outdated ideas and stereotypes.

This book was so fun! Definitely one of the better cozy mysteries I have read. One thing that bugged me a bit was the serious sexism (view spoiler)[(apparently a beautiful woman can't commit murder...*eye roll*) (hide spoiler)] But, I can't expect much better from a book written in the 60s I guess, it was pretty much the norm! The idea of a cat that solves mysteries had me hooked instantly. I look forward to the next book!

Your average cozy mystery. I think I like her novels set in Moose County more.

A reread, rather than a first read, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that these hadn't been visited by the suck fairy. (I'm sure I'll change my mind when I get later in the series.)
