I have been waiting for this book!! We finally get to find out where Lilia ends up after that giant cliffhanger in book 1.

**WARNING - POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR BOOK 1 BELOW**

OK, so secret pregnancy is not my favorite trope, but in this story, it makes sense, based on what we've learned of Lilia's past. Lilia so fiercely protects her baby, and that includes from Konstantin, Elyah and Kirill when she deems it necessary.

Learning of Kirill and Konstantin's pasts was so heartbreaking. You definitely understand what shaped them into the men they are today.

For me though, the star is the show was Lilia. She is so strong, so smart, and doesn't take one ounce of shit from her men. She made them work for her forgiveness, and she's my hero.
