Perfect introductory graphic novel for elementary students just starting to learn how to follow panels. My G1, 7 year old son loved it and so did I! From the front endpapers to the end boards, whimsical creatures walk through the story with you. Lovely midnight blue palette wraps Tippy's nighttime adventures in sleepy mischief. There's a short and sweet page for parents and teachers about how read comics with kids. Adorable and friendly advice, including scaled levels in case you're interested in "Tooning" into reading with the publisher, Toon Books. We definitely want to read more! This was also a fun read alike for GOODNIGHT GORILLA with all kinds of animals following sleepwalking Tippy back to her house to make a wonderful mess.
