** spoiler alert ** In book you find few nice concepts how to be better overall, from nutrition, through habits building, positive peer group, flow state, 40/70 decision rule to sleep, exercise. You won't miss your next opportunity if you install 80% of this book recommendations in your life. Important take from book is that only you can limit yourself and that's important how you frame your beliefs and limits. FASTER technique is similar I've seen in other growth/productivity books. ≥Many people are defined by their perceived restrictions, which in the real sense, are no restrictions at all. They are merely obstacles that you need to overcome to become limitless. ≥Every time you learn something new, your brain physically changes to reflect a new level of the mind. ≥There are no limitations to how much your brain can do when you apply the right motivation, mindset, and methods. ≥To become a genius, you need to reframe your limiting beliefs, ≥Name your limiting beliefs: Limiting beliefs often start in childhood, and a good way to discover them is to be self-aware. By countering them with positive self-talk, you can overcome them. ≥Life has no limitations, except the ones you make. ≥In your quest to improve your intelligence, you will make a few mistakes. This does not mean failure, but they are a sign that you are trying something new. ≥The habits you repeat every day largely determines your health, wealth, and happiness. Knowing how to change your habits means knowing how to confidently own and manage your days, focus on behaviours that have the highest impact, and reverse – engineer the life you want. ≥the more you read, the more your brain evolves and your memory improves. Reading also improves your focus, vocabulary, imagination, and understanding. ≥One of such mental models is decision making: 40/70 rule. This rule states that one should never make a decision with less than 40% of the information and to gather no more than 70% of the information available. Less than 40% means you are guessing, and more than 70% means you are stalling over making a decision. ≥You can choose this by studying your previous errors and understanding how the mistakes you made in the past ruined your progress. ≥Your actions or inactions have the power to change your life, and deciding to be proactive can help you live a more wholesome life. ≥A limitless person believes that their past does not equal their future ≥With the right mindset, motivation, and method, you can be anything you want to be.

When you study a subject for a decade, when you reject job offers to spend a full year focusing on it—experimenting with crazy ideas like alternating between 20 and 80 hours of work per week or watching 70h of TED talks in a single week—you for sure end up with new insights and valuable lessons to share. This is this book. The books comprise 25 chapters explaining the 25 most effective (and existing) techniques that the author discovered and experimented with. If you are looking for a first book on the subject, it's definitely a good one. Regrouping effective techniques in a well-organized volume makes them even more useful. "Atomic Habits" (which you must read too) is another great example of a book presenting existing knowledge in a way that gives even more meaning to the content.

This book has a lot of great examples and tips on how to train your brain to work better, including basic things like sleep and specific food examples. I liked that it included prompts to write down notes about each topic, but I found that much of its content was building up for what comes next instead of focusing on one thing. I'm not sure if this would bother anyone else, but it sure bothered me. However, I find it does include good advice and is actually helpful.
