Each room and character is so engaging, grandparents dance on a frayed carpet, Ma reads in the window seat, kids slide down bannisters, it's a glorious jumble of a home and family that is absolutely enchanting to explore and read aloud. And the hero who saves the day is the one member of the family no one would expect! 5 stars all the way!
