This is teen angst at its highest, but it is overshadowed with so much mystery and darkness of what it going on around them, that they continue to seek out one another through that darkness. “Glass Heart Broken,” is book two in the Glass Heart Academy Series, by Lindsey Iler. It is an enemies to lovers high school bully romance, and is not a standalone. This story continues focused on the mystery surrounding Palmers missing, but deemed dead sister, Reed. It brings out why Marek and his boys did what they did to Palmer. It brought out so many secrets as well as questions surrounding Reeds disappearance and the inner workings of the elite academy. I had to pick my mouth up off the floor, because there were some unexpected twists as well as an unspeakable amount of heat between those two. If you haven’t had a chance to read book one of this series- start there. You will not be disappointed by it.
