I have kept track of all of the Shadow Guild books so far, and because I'm a sucker for a good shifter romance, Eve has quickly made it to the top as my favorite book in this universe! She has been a constant character since the very first Carrow novel, and I have wanted to learn more about her and her story. Linsey did not dissapoint!! I'm sitting her impatiently waiting for book two!

Usually when you read a book that has a rejected mate aspect to it, it's the male rejecting the female. In this one, neither one of them wanted to be mated to the other which I found interesting and different. This was a plus for me. Still 3 stars because it wasn't a horrible book, yet it wasn't great. Willi finish the series? probably 🤷‍♀️
