This is a really great quick read! The story is super similar to FBA, but with some really cool magic differences. All in all it was written really well, enemies to lovers, fated mates, touch her and you die, god-like bad bitch mc. Excited to read the 2nd book in Nov.

I really loved the idea of the book,  the plot was good! But it just seemed rushed. Like there was too much that could’ve been expanded on. I’ll be reading book 2 for the ending of course, but was just disappointed in the rush of it all.

I both hated and loved parts of this book. I wish it hadn’t been forced into such small amount of pages and allowed the plot and characters to develop a little more. Writing wasn’t bad at all, just the execution of planning could have been better, which is disappointing. But I do want to continue the series as it gets published!
