This book has an awful lot of stuff going on...and it lasted about 200 pages more than it needed to. However, I fully understand why Lisa Jackson is a loved and sought after novelist. This was easy to follow, even if it was a tad outlandish (but who doesn't love outlandish every now and then???). The characters you're supposed to like are indeed likeable, and she writes her villains with a certain flair. While it was the greatest murder mystery I have ever read, I will definitely read more of Lisa Jackson's books.
