First Impressions
End Game was the epic finale of the "Dirty Money" series and I had such a fun time with this one here. It was really great to see things come to its final conclusion and fair warning that it does have some moments that are hard to read as it deals with tough issues of shame and grief as the beginning is coming off of a tragedy and that is really hard to see. But the author really tackles the human element so well. It also gives the readers plenty of happy couple page time as we see them resolve and tie loose ends as they are moving forward with their lives and embracing their HEA that they both have worked so hard for.
First Line
I will live to hurt you. I will live to torture you. You will die a slow, painful death for this.
The Main Protagonists
The Hero: Shane
The Heroine: Emily
Summary
Shane and Emily have barely survived a tragedy with their own lives, and it cost them greatly one that holds dear to them. But as they work through it together as a couple, they learn to fight for what matters for them and make a stand of what is right. There are still some secrets happening with Shane's parents, and the drug cartel, but the conflict is coming to a close for both them, they will have to make prepare for the upcoming danger but also for embracing their happy ever...
What I Loved
Is all the happy couple page time that we get in this book. Majority of the plot machinations of the series get resolved pretty early in this story, so we get to see our couple embracing their future and making such wonderful plans with each other. This is what I love about one couple series, is all the couple page time that we deserve and Lisa Renee Jones definitely delivers in this aspect. There was also plenty of justice done in this story which I found satisfying but we also see our characters deal with real emotions here especially as they learn to deal with their losses. We see such a close intimacy between Shane and Emily, and we really get to see how much they uplift and encourage each other. We such such true partnership in this and I love seeing how well they compliment each other in various aspects.
What I Struggled With
So I wanted so much for this book that I was a bit disappointed that we didn't receive. I really wanted to love what what was delivered, and while I was hooked and loved the happy couple page times, the actual serial plot aspects, there were just so many things left untied for this one. I just was expecting more to happy with the parents and the drug cartel that didn't really happen. And I wanted more justice for the parents who caused so much damage that just didn't happen for them, not in the way I was hoping for and it did feel like there was more happening in their secrets that just fell flat. So the execution of the finale in the serial plot didn't quite do these books justice as I was hoping for.
Narration
Just like in the previous books, the narration was superb in every way and kept me completely hooked and I didn't want to put them down at all.
Overall View
End Game was a fierce finale that brings together hard tough emotion and delivering a swoony happy ending worth all the solid stars! It delivered in what I look for in a romance and I can't wait to read the connecting series to this world.

I have loved this series from the very beginning and I am sad to see it end. End Game is well written and just like all previous books I just couldn't put this book down. I highly recommend .

I received an ARC of this book from the author and I voluntarily reviewed it. Thank you Lisa Renee Jones! What a satisfying ending to this series. I absolutely loved this entire series and the story of Shane and Emily. This constant back and forth and trying to decipher peopleβs intentions was unbelievably captivating and fun. This is the kind of book and series that doesnβt leave your mind once you put it away. It stays with you. I was kind of looking for a final βPOWβ at the end that didnβt come, but nonetheless, I am not dissatisfied with how it ended. It is fitting, and I am happy for Emily and Shane, even though 90% of the time, I donβt like HEAs *collective gasp from the romance reader community* I cannot wait to open Poison Kisses!
