What an amazing, heartfelt book about family, hardship and finding yourself. Didn’t realize this was a series! Will definitely start with book one. I loved how the struggles the characters are dealing with, job, health, love, family, perspective, are all real life situations with real life perspective. Unraveling the threads that hold us where we are is the tricky part but Karen was able to do that with a little prompting from a whisper of the sycamore trees.

The third in the series followed the theme laid down in the first two books - life is short and should not be wasted on things that don’t matter. It is a predictable storyline but still an enjoyable book.
