I really quite enjoyed this. The magic system is fun. I like Emelin a lot and the journey she goes through, and I really love Creon(a fae warrior called the Silent Death.. I never had a chance.)

It’s a good intro to a series and I’m interested to see where the story goes from here.

There’s lots of fun banter, crazy fae and a hero that makes breakfast, what more do you need?
