I've been avoiding reading this book for a long time because I thought I would hate it but it's actually a really cute feel good book that's fast paced and easy to read... Not sure if I'll read the rest of the books but definitely a possibility once my TBR pile is down

This book is well written and the characters are relatable. However, it reinforces the belief that money is everything. By not having money, Claire is at a lower social status than the other girls. But this book also showed that Massie and the others did have a conscience and could feel remorse at what they were doing

This book shows the struggles that many girls encounter at this age and shows insight into both worlds.

Oh man, I wanted to be in the Pretty Committee so bad. I had every single one of these books until I grew up a little and became less interested. These were my true obsession in middle school. Massie was everything I wanted to be and had everything I wanted to have.
