Y'all know that I truly enjoy Leigh's short stories, right? well, this isn't the exception I truly loved it! <3

"She lived in a happy solitude, and grew old, and never worried when her beauty faded, for in her reflection she always saw a free woman."

I really enjoyed this one!

Wow. That was so good! This story... I major in philology in university and we've studied Russian folklore this past semester. And it has some rules. My point is, this story follows the same rules and then it just BREAKS THEM TO PIECES. And it's so, so great and actually unexpected! I think these are all the folk stories Leigh wrote so far, but I hope she doesn't stop, cause they are amazing.

"She lived in happy solitude, and grew old, and never worried when her beauty faded, for in her reflection she always saw a free woman." Esta historia fue simplemente genial.

This novella offers some background to the Grishaverse, but can be read as a standalone. A beautiful girl finds her father doesn't have her best interests at heart when finding her a husband, but rather what he can get from her suitors.

Fun short Story, nothing special though

THIS IS JUST LIKE A GRIMM FAIRYTALE BUT BETTER. "But as you leave that dark gap in the trees behind, remember that to use a thing is not to own it." This was absolutely beautiful. You have everything you need. ☑ Unbelievably pretty girl thrown into hiding by her father ☑ Greedy Duke who only wants to profit from his daughter's beauty ☑ A prince fighting for her hand ☑ A poor man who is friend's with the river fighting for her hand ☑ Three task set the faith of the pretty girl It is literally just like a fairytale and it made me so happpppy!
