The worst book I’ve ever read hands down. The story was boring, no real substance to any of it, and the “big plot twist” at the end was just lazy.

Wait, WHAT now?!? This book took so many twists and turns, my head is spinning! Definitely didn’t expect all that. Did feel a bit lost in parts but I think it’s because I listened on audio and couldn’t flip back in the book to review scenes/characters I was confused about. I like Liv Constantine’s books for a trusty bit of suspense that’s easy to listen to rather than read because you don’t have to pay attention to too many little details.

Piper gets what’s she wants and she has her eyes set on Leo. Too bad he already belongs to Joanna. Piper is persistent and Leo falls head over heels with the charismatic woman she is. But Joanna isn’t going to give up her children that easily and certainly isn’t going to give up the love of her life without a fight.

The Wife Stalker is 306 pages long and took me one day to read.

I’ll admit when I first started reading this it made me sick and I almost gave it up but I’m SOOOOO glad I didn’t! I’m giving it a 4 out of 5! Liv Constantine really knows how to write a page-turner and you won’t be disappointed!

I read a review by someone I follow (even though she's WAY too generous with the 5-stars) and it was a pretty good read. It really put the PSYCHO in psychological thriller! It had to, but it started out with a lot of romance as this woman pursued the married man. But once the wife got booted, she started pursuing the other woman and her past with a vengence! If you like "the pursuit of a good married man" romance, then this would be a 4+. It really rolled to a wild ending.

If you read this book you need to push past the dull first half... dull is a bit mean actually, I guess I mean slow burn. Man this is a slow burn. But the twist actually had me go back and read again, think I’d made a mistake. I read the past 4 times before I realised I’d read it right and this was actually happening. I loved the twist, thought it was fantastic. But there were still a few things not cleared up and kind of ignored by the end that worried me. Some loose ends that while subtly hinted at, it was super subtle and actually I wanted it to be clearer. 

This wasn’t my favourite Liv Constantine - that’s The Last Mrs Parrish without a doubt. But this is totally worth a read, and the twist will stick with you. The twist was well done, even if it is slow to get there.

The Wife Stalker was a slow burn that built up to a clever twist I didn't see coming. While all of the characters were unlikeable and felt sort of shallow and the entire book was missing a puzzle piece I just couldn't find- I had no idea where the story was going to end up which kept me reading! Definitely a fast paced, hard to put down book for that reason.
