His hands don't linger, but his gaze does. It roams my face, hitching on my mouth. It moves lower, burning my neck, my collarbone, before it darts back up again. 

I'm shaken by a need to perform in some way, to keep those eyes on me. But I'm frozen, suspended in the moment. 

I rack my brain for the rebuttal, but her gaze pins me, and I suddenly forget the impulse to fight. Something in her eyes renders me completely useless.

The moment stretches like taffy, on and on without breaking, until her smile fades and we're both just staring. Has it been one second or three? More? Something plucks a stiff string in my chest, and the vibrations move through me, leaving a wake.

A little long. I didn't not like it. I am more interested in reading Will's book though. Will there be one?

One thing I did not like, when given a rental car, they saw more people were stranded and didn't even bother offering them the option to tag along. You can argue that they didn't know the other people, but they didn't know each other either. They had room and could have saved some money. At least drop people off at the nearest car rental place. I know it's not practical but the whole book isn't practical.

Cassidy Bliss is on her way from North Carolina to California to be the maid of honor in her sister, Isabelle's wedding, but finds herself thwarted at every turn by Luke Carlisle, who is also trying to get home to visit family.  When he takes her parking spot at the airport and fails to hold the shuttle for her, she thinks he must be evil incarnate.  After a cracked window causes their plane to land in the middle of nowhere, Cassidy sees another side of Luke.  As they make their way across the country together and get to know each other, what they find together may be something that they are unable to give up.

Planes, Trains, and All the Feels is a cute story about two people dealing with lots of family issues.  At times, the banter is witty and fun, but heavy themes and difficult choices also play major parts in this book.  The romance between the two protagonists almost takes a back seat to all of the family problems that they both must face.  While filled with unique situations, the plot could have been more humorous and the characters more quirky.  Overall, though, Planes, Trains, and All the Feels is an entertaining road trip rom-com, making for an enjoyable read.
