Holy canoli did this book take me for a ride. Definitely a good read.

The reason I enjoyed this book.......the relationship of the sisters.
That was my favorite part. The story was good. The character development was good.
But the sisters.......LOVE!!!

Jacks and James have a good marriage with its ups and downs. Until one day her life is turned upside down by two police officers give her the news of his death. But that’s not it. He died in an accident in a city he wasn’t supposed to be alongside a woman he wasn’t supposed to be with. Enter Nick, the dead woman Dylan’s fiancé who is shocked by the truth as well. On his insistence, Jacks decides to retrace the dead couple’s steps to figure out what went wrong in her life.

The story is told in multiple timelines and both Jacks and Dylan’s POVs. I liked the way both the women characters are developed. I thought Jacks handled her grief with a lot of courage even though I am unsure of the way she did it. Dylan’s struggle to choose between Nick and James is also written well. There are a couple of interesting twists that made me want to read till the end. The book overall was good, just not great. This is seemingly in contrast with the high reviews this book has but I guess my expectations have gone up these days and I am not satisfied easily.
