This is the first part of duology, and it seems that part one is hurt, and part two is comfort.
Lilah is an omega who grew up in omega center and managed to suppress her awakening for a very long time. Now she is forced to join pack of four alpha mercenaries who already has their omega (Orion, who is pretty as f). Honestly these alphas are bullies, but while some (Hunter) have their redeeming qualities, others (Atlas, their leader, first of all) not so much and after that final of this book they should really grovel to have any chance to be forgiven.
For omegaverse this was really light on spice, and it was MM and MMMMM.

Not enough groveling after what happened in part 1 :D But revenge was nice. Spice was... good? Not "whoa I can't tear my eyes away", but solid. 

Lilah & Orion are still the best, two very special omegas ❤

If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been on a bit of an Omegaverse kick lately—and this bad boy has been on my radar for ages. But with part 2 coming out next month, I figured it was time to see what all the fuss was about. And you know what? I wasn’t disappointed. Not in the slightest. I am, however, in pain.

FMC Lilah is an omega and has been treated like literal shit her entire life. Her mom sold her to the omega cultivation center when she was young, and she’s been a ward or “darling” of the center since then. She runs herself ragged (literally) to prevent her body from awakening into its full omega perfumyness because once she starte emitting perfume, she’ll be sent into rotation with various packs for her heats. And that is no bueno.

Lilah ends up being sent to integrate with Pack Wyvern, a societally powerful pack of alphas who already have a male omega and are NOT interested in what she has to offer. But here’s the rub: they’re actually Lilah’s scent match. That’s right folks, FATED MATES. But they don’t know that because she still isn’t putting out perfume. But Lilah knows. And since she doesn’t tell them, they treat her like garbage.

I am now counting down the days until part 2 comes out because I am VERY ready for the grovel to end all grovels. These fuckers better be on their hands and knees for her after the shit they pulled, and I for one hope she doesn’t go easy on them.

The fact that I read part one in the last week of December and this book skyrocketed to my most anticipated 2022 reads speaks volumes for the incredible world that Lola Rock has created. This was everything I needed and everything I could ever want. If you didn’t read part one, stop reading this review and go rectify that ASAP.

The Wyvern pack has their work (and I mean WORK) cut out for them if they ever want Lilah back in their life after the shit they pulled at the end of part one, as we know. And honestly? I was very impressed with the strides they took for her, both individually and as a unit. There were some shifts in the power dynamic of the pack, giving the guys near carte blanche to start their stop-being-dicks journeys. Orion starts attending classes at OCC. Atlas takes omega 101 classes to finally learn how to take care of his omegas. Jett starts seeing a therapist!! Miracles happen, people. This book is in the grovel hall of fame, that’s for damn sure.

Lilah is finally where she belongs: at the top of the food chain, fielding offers from packs left and right for her to choose for her impending heat. But you just can’t beat fated mates, can you? Not when they smell so delicious and know how to push all the right buttons. 

One of my favorite things about this book was the sheer volume of Lilah x Orion quality time. The way this man is GONE for her, I die. He makes it very clear he’s on team Lilah > team Wyvern and every single one of their interactions made me giddy. This is one of the best Omegaverse series I’ve ever read. Go read it, thank me later.

I love this book!! It was easy to read and couldn’t put it down. 
I loved lilah’s character, it shows that she’s a fighter and has bin her whole life. The boys Hunter, Jett, Finn and especially Altas are idiots though. They saw her bruises knew she was a survivor and stil acted like assholes to her. But I love Lilah and Orion spending time together, they just fit. 

I can’t wait to read book two😊.

It was a slow burn between Lilah and the boys, but it doesn’t leave out the boys with their OG omega. It is chalked full of secrets, growth, new friendship and an undeniable pull that they all have toward one another. I was sucked in from the get go and just floored by the sheer amount of strength and grit that Lilah showcased. Those boys have one thing coming and they have some catching up to do if they want to keep Lilah as a mate for life.
